We are pleased to let you know about the planned merger between Bromley, Lewisham & Greenwich (BLG) Mind and Lambeth & Southwark Mind (LSM).
Both organisations are committed to ensuring the people in our Boroughs get the mental health support and respect they deserve and are convinced that a merger will support that aim for current and future beneficiaries across the five Boroughs.
After a successful feasibility and due diligence stage, we are working towards a planned merger date of 01 January 2024.
All LSM services, contracts and staff in place at the time of the merger are planned to transfer to BLG Mind which will then become the new merged organisation, with a new identity. As a result local service delivery will continue in all five Boroughs and we do not anticipate there being any disruption to that delivery.
