We never close… Mosaic tells Minister Sajid Javid

‘Our building may be closed but our community remains open’, writes trustee Kate Jopling, quoting Mosaic Clubhouse’s international motto in an inspiring report on how the Lambeth clubhouse went virtual and supported those at the sharp end of the Covid 19 pandemic.

The clubhouse may have closed its doors for the first time in 25 years in March 2020,  but when it was able to open them more fully, among its visitors was Sajid Javid, Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, on his October mission to launch the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (details here).

Pictured with Mr Javid,  programme manager Beverley Randall outlines the Mosaic Clubhouse tenets of staff and members working side-by-side to promote recovery, confidence and skills, while members called for more clubhouses to be set up in the UK.
