Seasonal Opening Hours, Crisis & Covid Contacts

If you need urgent help for a mental health crisis or want to speak to someone about your own or the mental health of someone else call 0800 731 2864 (Option 1) to speak to SLaM’s (South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust) 24-hour mental health support line.

Urgent medical help & emergencies: To get urgent medical help call NHS 111. For life-threatening emergencies, call 999 for an ambulance. To contact the police or fire brigade in an emergency call 999. For the police non-emergencies call 102.

Solidarity in a Crisis Out of hours crisis helpline: is also operating over the festive season offering peer support over the phone for adults experiencing a mental health crisis; Monday to Friday, 6pm until midnight, Saturday and Sunday, midday to midnight. Freephone 0300 123 1922.

Mosaic Clubhouse has had to close its building due to the current Covid situation – the Evening Sanctuary will be operating virtually and offering support to those already known to the service.

The Samaritans helpline is open 24/7 365 days a year and you can call them on 116 123.

Covid-19 Vaccine: For up to date information on the Covid-19 vaccine and the local roll out, please visit the South East London CCG website. If you still have not booked your vaccine please feel free to use this link to see where your nearest pop up clinic is. Alternatively you can call your GP. Please note the booster vaccine is now available 3 months after your second dose.

NHS Volunteer Responders: Offer help to people who are self-isolating because they have COVID-19, or because they are avoiding public places because of this virus. If you need help call 0808 196 3646

Abbevilles, First Step Trust

We are closed from 23 December and reopen 4 January 2022, unless Covid situation changes.

Carers Hub Lambeth

We understand that Winter can be a difficult time, especially with the ongoing situation with Covid 19. The team is here to offer 1 to 1 support to carers, so please do give us a call if there is anything that we can help with. Our phone lines are open Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, via 020 7501 8970.

Please note over the festive period, our phone lines will be closed on the weekends and Bank Holidays (Monday 27, 28 December and Monday 3 January).

Community Support Network

We are continuing to provide Independant Mental Health Advocacy (IMHA) services except public holidays. The 336 Brixton Roadbuilding will be closed between lunchtime Christmas Eve, 24 December and re-opens on 4 January 2022. If people require IMHA service they should call the Lambeth Advocacy Hub on 0203 143 9000 or via email: advocacy@connectlambeth.org or www.connectlambeth.org/advocacy.

The Lambeth Advocacy Hub is open 8.30am – 6pm Mondays – Fridays except public holidays. They may be open slightly reduced hours during the Christmas/New Year period, see above re contact details.

For contact with individual advocates – our website is up-to-date and people can ring our office 0207 274 4490 – likely to get voicemail due to 336 office being closed and us spending most of our time providing IMHA to patients on the wards.

Healthwatch Lambeth closes at 4 pm on Friday 24 December and reopens 9.30am Tuesday 4 January.

Lambeth and Southwark Mind is closed from 22 December until 4 January. Our services are currently being offered remotely due to the current Covid situation.

The Lambeth Living Well Network Alliance Living Well Centres and Single Point of Access (SPA) will be closed 25-28 December and on 3 January.

Mosaic Clubhouse is currently closed but will be offering telephone support to its members day on weekdays between 10am-4pm. This excludes the bank holidays on the 27th and 28th December and 3rd January, but there will be Zoom socials on these days. The evening sanctuary will be operating virtually.

SRA (Southside Rehabilitation Association – Ltd)

We are closed from Friday 24 December lunchtime and re-open Tuesday 4 January 2022.
