Mental Health Awareness Week: 10-16 May

Following on from their successful World Health Day partnership on April 7, Healthwatch Lambeth and Tony Cealy (Trainer, Producer and Arts Practitioner) are staging another Zoom event on Friday 14 as part of Mental Health Awareness Week, 10-16 May.

This performance is one of a series of events being put on by Healthwatch Lambeth on May 14. You can find out about Kooth and Qwell’s mental health support, join Michelle for Boxercise or Boma for journaling and meditation, and round off the day at Tony Cealy’s interactive performance of Kwame & Lockdown 3, about black men in the time of Covid-19. You can register for a free ticket here.

Meanwhile, the theme from the Mental Health Foundation this year is Nature and the Environment. ‘You don’t need to climb a mountain to feel the benefit… there are lots of ways to bring Nature into your everyday’, says the Foundation in its nature tips, available here.
